Our goal is to produce the most maternal, highest-quality herd of Charolais females that can be found anywhere in the country. Our females must provide us with powerful bull calf progeny as well as high-end attractive replacement heifers that will go on to duplicate their Dams most favorable traits.
Careful attention to detail both in the pasture and on the spreadsheet gives us the information we need to constantly improve our cattle. No pedigree will stop us from culling a cow that isn’t getting the job done. If a cow doesn’t bring a good calf to the catch pen in the fall, she will not be invited to stay another year. Our cows must work for us rather then us working for them. Over time this strict management policy has produced stronger and more consistent females.
Our cows are moderate, easy fleshing and very maternal with outstanding production records. It is our goal to produce Charolais cattle in a closed herd environment that will continue to get the job done right for our commercial bull customers as well as provide out-cross genetics for other registered producers.
We sell all of our Charolais female’s private treaty so whether you are looking for just one or a large group we will have all classes of females available at weaning time in early November.
