Private Treaty
Thanks to all who purchased bulls this last fall. Forty-two bulls left WCCC and went to work in some really great cowherds in several states. We are nearing the end of the fall calving breeding season with to my knowledge every bull still sound and hard at work.
This spring we will be offering a very nice selection of eighteen month to two-year-old bulls that will be ready to turn out. We also will be offering contracts on our spring 2007 born bulls that will be ready for service by October 2008 as long yearlings.
As always our bulls are developed with no creep feed as calves, rough wintered and then turned out on grass all summer. They will be hard and ready to go to work for you.
- Pedigree birth weight and calving ease EPDs in the top 5% in the breed.
- Actual birth weights and calving ease are proven! To date we have calved more than 1,000 head of commercial Wooden Cross-owned females including virgin Angus heifers mated to our senior herd sires with trouble-free calving ease.
