Charolais Foundation Females
Females of Wooden Cross - Past and Present
The first eight females below are just a few examples of the maternal foundation of our present day herd. Many of these cows went on to be donors and lead off production females in prominent herds across the country. These females have produced some of the best Charolais progeny of our time. We continue to build off this strong maternal base. I wont bore you with individual footnotes but encourage you to click on the AICA links then go to the progeny links to view the breeders that they have served and the accomplishments of these great females. We continue to stack the bloodlines of our three sire groups on top of the daughters, granddaughters, great-granddaughters and great-great granddaughters of these proven cows. We look forward to presenting some of the resulting progeny in the near future.
This spring we will begin to post pictures and pedigrees of many of our young braided/line bred females that are in production here at Wooden Cross. Please check back for updates. Thank you.
